Makaton Taster
1.5- 2 hour workshop £15pp
The Makaton Taster session is perfect for beginners who want to learn the basics of Makaton. We cover around 40 signs and symbols during the workshop. Ideal if you would like to dip into the world of Makaton prior to starting official training. These workshops can also have a bespoke design for your setting.
Makaton Levels 1- 4
1 day workshop per Level £83pp
The Levels are a great way to broaden your Makaton skills. A wide range of vocabulary is covered including family members, food and drink, school concepts, animals, transport, professions and much more! Each Level is unique, from learning the history of Makaton, to symbol design themes, interpretation and translation as well as resources for using Makaton in real-life situations. Each Level includes a manual and a recognised certificate.
Group bookings
If you or your organisation requires group training, please contact us either via the contact form below or email for a quote. For a group we can accommodate 15 people for a Taster and 12 for a Level workshop. For group bookings we usually come to you so we can deliver the training face to face. However we have trained schools up and down the country and overseas via zoom.

Keep Signing Choir
Our monthly Keep Signing Choir is a great, relaxed way to practice your Makaton! We hold these on zoom and cover two songs per session.

Online (Individual)
If you would like to join a workshop you do not have to be part of an organisation to do so. Running the courses online enable you to complete the training from the comfort of your own home. This also allows us to keep your cost down too. Some of our recent clients have joined us from Nepal, Thailand and Dubai, meaning Makaton really is hitting all corners of the globe!
Inclusive Online Activities
Katie runs weekly signing and dance sessions for those with learning disabilities. The full timetable and how to book these activities can be found here.
Louder Drama
Katie has been with Louder Drama since 2020 and teaches the LAMDA syllabus privately to children aged 4-13. The lessons provide a space to improve confidence, speech and work towards LAMDA exams if desired. These sessions are inclusive to all.
